Transfer your OEICs, Unit Trusts or Investment Trusts into your Nominee Account

If you hold OEICs, Unit Trusts or Investment Trusts, then you should perhaps consider registering them in your nominee account*.

You can benefit from re-registration of your existing funds in a number of ways:

  • Bring all your investments to one platform - eases administration
  • Enables you to get complete regular valuations of your portfolio
  • It will help you to cut down on your paperwork.

And, it can be done at no additional cost to you.

* Please note that by holding your Unit Trusts, OEICs and Investment Trusts electronically in our Nominee service, your investments are registered in the name of our Nominee rather than your name. This means that your personal details will not be held on the company's share register. Whilst you will continue to receive any dividends, you may not receive all shareholder benefits and communications such as Annual Reports and Accounts or invitations.

How to transfer your OEICs and Unit Trusts to your Nominee Account

  1. Complete a Stock Transfer Form (32 KB PDF file).
    Get Adobe Acrobat Reader (from www.adobe.com)
  2. Sign a letter of instruction confirming the name(s) of the fund(s) you wish to transfer.
  3. Return both forms to us at the address below and include a recent statement(s) from your Fund Manager(s) detailing your holding(s).

Please note: You will need to complete and sign a separate Stock Transfer Form for each OEIC and/or Unit Trust you wish to transfer.

How to transfer your Investment Trusts to your Nominee Account

  1. Complete a Share Deposit Form (which includes a CREST Transfer Form) (346 KB PDF file).
    Get Adobe Acrobat Reader (from www.adobe.com)
  2. Sign a letter of instruction confirming the name(s) of the Investment Trust(s) you wish to transfer.
  3. Return both forms to us at the address below, including the original certificate(s).

Please note: You will need to complete and sign a separate CREST Transfer Form for each Investment Trust you wish to transfer.
